This collaboration builds on a decade of joint efforts to democratize internet access and fuel the country’s digital revolution.

Reliance and Google Cloud aim to deliver cutting-edge, secure AI infrastructure, powered by green energy and connected through Jio’s advanced digital network. This initiative is designed to support the growing demands of one of the world’s fastest-expanding retail ecosystems, while enabling AI-driven transformation across all Reliance businesses.
State-of-the-Art Cloud Region at Jamnagar
Under this partnership, RIL will design, build, and power a next-generation cloud facility and associated network infrastructure at Jamnagar. The facility will fully comply with Google Cloud’s global specifications and service-level standards, ensuring reliability for even the most demanding AI workloads.
This dedicated cloud region will allow Reliance to:

Google Cloud will deploy its AI hypercomputer and a secure, fully integrated AI stack, which includes:

This ecosystem will provide high-performance computing at scale, enabling businesses to adopt AI efficiently and securely.
Sustainability at the Core
As per company press release, the Jamnagar cloud region will operate on Reliance’s green energy initiatives, ensuring sustainable hyperscale operations. Additionally, Reliance Jio will provide high-capacity intra- and inter-metro fiber connectivity. It will link Jamnagar to key hubs such as Mumbai and Delhi for seamless data transfer.
