Savita Oil Technologies Limited has inaugurated a state-of-the-art synthetic ester manufacturing facility at Mahad. The plant has been designed to produce synthetic esters for transformer fluid applications. Additionally, it will also produce synthetic esters suitable for high-performance automotive and industrial lubricants.
Synthetic esters are preferred due to their exceptional thermal stability and excellent dielectric properties, making them the ideal choice for use in electric vehicle (EV) coolants, battery immersion cooling, and data center cooling fluids.
With the successful commissioning of this plant, Savita Oil has achieved a ground-breaking milestone. As reported by MarketScreener, they will be recognised as the world’s first company capable of manufacturing and offering all three classes of transformer fluids: mineral oil based, natural ester based, and now, synthetic ester based. Leveraging the esters produced at this facility, the company is set to introduce an innovative range of EV coolants and immersion cooling fluids.
