Tenable®, Inc., the exposure management company, announced that SRF Limited, a diversified chemical-based manufacturer, has expanded its long-standing partnership. The company has adopted the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform. This marks a milestone in SRF’s drive to transform cybersecurity in manufacturing. It enables holistic risk visibility across IT and OT.

Addressing Evolving Threat Landscapes

Sanjay Rao, President and CIO of SRF Limited, stated, “The biggest challenge in our industry lies in proactively outpacing the relentless evolution of cyber threats. The escalating frequency of ransomware, phishing, and supply chain attacks, which now target both IT and OT environments, demands a delicate balance of robust security measures without compromising the agility and user experience vital for business operations.”

Recent data from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) shows that most OT attacks now originate from IT systems. Identity exposures account for 90% of initial access to critical infrastructure.

Unified View of Cyber Risk

By deploying Tenable One, SRF can now measure global cyber risk exposure in a single view and benchmark its security posture against industry peers. It also gains deep insights from OT assets, enabling faster, data-driven decisions.

Rajeev Verma, Chief Information Security Officer at SRF Limited, emphasized, “Tenable has helped us continuously assess and prioritise IT risks for years. We are now extending that confidence into OT with Tenable One, gaining a unified view of our exposure, whether at headquarters or on the factory floor.”

Advancing Operational Resilience

With the adoption of Tenable One, SRF plans to:

*Establish a centralised OT security monitoring centre as part of its SecureOT initiative.

*Strengthen network segmentation.

*Deploy advanced threat detection solutions.

As per the press release, these measures reflect SRF’s commitment to reducing cyber risk and enhancing operational resilience. They also aim to ensure compliance with global cybersecurity regulations.

Setting New Benchmarks for Industrial Cybersecurity

Nigel Ng, Senior Vice President at Tenable for Asia Pacific and Japan, commented, “SRF is setting a new standard for cybersecurity in manufacturing by adopting a proactive, unified approach to risk management. SRF is unifying security visibility, insight, and action across its attack surface. It is taking decisive steps to isolate and eliminate priority cyber exposures.”
