Stallion India Fluorochemicals Limited (SIFL), a leading player in refrigerants and industrial gases, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan to set up a new manufacturing facility in Bhilwara district. RIICO facilitated the agreement and will provide approvals, clearances, and infrastructure support to ensure timely execution.

Focus on R-32 and Advanced Refrigerants

The upcoming facility will primarily produce R-32 refrigerant gas. It is widely used in modern cooling systems for its energy efficiency and lower environmental impact. Alongside R-32, the plant will also manufacture advanced refrigerants such as R-410A, R-404A, and R-407C. This will strengthen Stallion India’s product portfolio to serve both domestic and global markets.

Project Investment

Businessupturn.com reported that the project will involve an estimated investment of ₹120 crore and create about 30 direct jobs in the region. The company plans to begin production in 2026, and land acquisition for the facility is already underway.

Strengthening Domestic Manufacturing Footprint

Shazad Sheriar Rustomji, Managing Director and CEO, Stallion India Fluorochemicals Limited, highlighted, “This project marks a significant milestone in our capacity expansion strategy and underscores our commitment to serving the growing demand for environment-friendly and energy-efficient refrigerants in India. The Bhilwara facility will strengthen our domestic manufacturing footprint and reduce import dependency. It will also position us to cater to both domestic and export markets. We are grateful to the Government of Rajasthan for its proactive support in enabling this investment, which aligns with our long-term vision of innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric growth.”
