The Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) established its first National Committee on Bio-Energy, marking a significant step in advancing India’s clean and sustainable energy mission. The committee unites eminent industry leaders and experts from across the bio-energy value chain. It provides a dedicated platform for dialogue and collaborative problem-solving. In its inaugural meeting, members unanimously elected Atul Mulay, President – Bioenergy, Praj Industries, as Chairperson, and Lt Col (Retd) Monish Ahuja, CMD, PRESPL & Chairman, CBEII, as Co-Chairperson.

Members highlighted the importance of a focused forum to channel the industry’s collective expertise into workable solutions. The committee will develop roadmaps, define KPIs, and set realistic targets to advance India’s energy transition while supporting climate commitments.
