L&T Heavy Engineering, the high-tech manufacturing arm of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), bagged a series of major international orders across Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Europe. The contracts further strengthen the company’s position as a leading global supplier of critical process plant equipment for the refining, petrochemical, fertilizer, and energy sectors. The latest order highlight L&T’s growing international footprint and reinforce customer confidence in its advanced engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
Major Orders from Dangote Group
A key highlight of the new business is the award of multiple contracts from Dangote Group, Africa’s largest industrial conglomerate. Under the agreements, L&T Heavy Engineering will supply critical process equipment for a mega refinery project in Nigeria and multi-train fertilizer expansion projects in Nigeria and Ethiopia. The scope of work includes manufacturing and supplying several high-value process plant components, including the world’s largest Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) Reactor-Regenerator Package, critical urea processing equipment and essential ammonia plant equipment. These projects will support the expansion of refining and fertilizer production capacity across Africa.
Repeat Order for Canada’s LNG Project
In addition to its African contracts, L&T secured a repeat order from a Japanese customer for an LNG project in Canada. The company will manufacture and supply heat exchangers and absorbers. The repeat business reflects the customer’s continued confidence in L&T’s engineering expertise, product quality, and reliable project execution.
Orders Across Spain, the US and Brazil
L&T Heavy Engineering has also expanded its global order book by winning contracts from customers in Spain, the United States, and Brazil. The orders include the supply of several core process plant equipment, such as coke drums, fractionator columns and heat exchangers. These specialized products are widely used in refineries, petrochemical complexes, and energy processing facilities worldwide.
