NTPC Collaborates with GSPC and GPPL for Green Hydrogen Initiatives

NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) signed agreements with Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (GSPC) and Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd. (GPPL). The agreement with GSPC focuses on incorporating green hydrogen into GSPC’s gas networks and advancing green hydrogen mobility through the establishment of green hydrogen fuelling stations across Gujarat.

The agreement with GPPL is focused towards creating a sustainable green hydrogen ecosystem, encompassing the production of green ammonia. The designated land provided by GPPL will serve both domestic and export markets. As reported by pv magazine, the collaboration aims to assess Pipavav Port as a strategic hub for NGEL’s endeavours in the exploration, development, and operation of offshore wind farms in Gujarat.
