OXEA Completes Global Leadership Team and Enters Next Phase of Strategic Relaunch

Following its official relaunch in April 2025, OXEA has taken decisive action to redefine its strategic direction, sharpen its market focus, and expand its global presence. Now, the company has reached another important milestone: it has finalized its new Global Leadership Team (GLT).

Michael McHenry, Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the significance of this step. “Relaunching OXEA is more than a change of name — it reflects our renewed commitment to customers, employees, and our long-term vision,” he said. “By assembling a leadership team with deep expertise, global experience, and a shared drive for performance, we are building a stronger, faster, and more agile company. Michael McHenry – Chief Executive Officer

Michael brings more than 30 years of international leadership experience in the chemical and materials industry. Throughout his career, he has led publicly traded, private, and private equity-backed organizations. Moreover, he has guided international businesses across multiple markets and delivered successful strategy development and transformation programs.

Previously, he held leadership roles at BASF, Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Master Fluid Solutions, and Techmer PM.

Ed Ray – Chief Financial Officer

Ed contributes more than 25 years of financial leadership experience within the global chemical industry. He has led finance organizations across international markets and strengthened financial strategy, operational finance, and performance management frameworks.

Before joining OXEA, he served as CFO at OCI Methanol. In addition, he held senior finance positions with increasing global responsibility at Ecolab.

Christina Fuchs – Chief Human Resources Officer

Christina offers over 20 years of HR leadership experience. She has successfully led both operational and strategic HR organizations worldwide. Furthermore, she has implemented organizational design and talent strategies focused on culture development, capability building, transformation initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions.

David Muldoon – Chief Commercial Officer

David brings more than three decades of international experience in commodity and specialty chemical businesses. He has built global commercial organizations, developed go-to-market strategies, and expanded strategic partnerships across regions and applications.

Most recently, he served as Chief Business Officer at Manus Bio and as Chief Operating Officer at Genomatica. Earlier in his career, he held senior commercial leadership roles at BASF and Ciba Specialty Chemicals.

Scott Farmer – Chief Supply Chain Officer

Scott contributes more than 30 years of supply chain and procurement leadership experience. He has driven major transformation programs, integrated acquisitions, built high-performing global teams, and delivered measurable improvements in sourcing, logistics, and operational performance.

Most recently, he served as Chief Procurement Officer at Amcor. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Honda, Bristol Myers Squibb, and L’Oréal.

Bastian Kuhl – Chief Transformation Officer

Bastian combines leadership experience from the military, top-tier consulting, and global industrial operations. He has led strategic transformation programs across industrial and technology-driven sectors. Additionally, he specializes in organizational development, performance enhancement, and large-scale change initiatives.

Dr. Albrecht Schwerin – Chief Operations Officer

Albrecht brings nearly 30 years of global leadership experience in chemical operations and manufacturing. Since joining OXEA in 2022, he has overseen production sites and led strategic transformation programs, significantly strengthening global operations.

Previously, he held leadership roles at Henkel, Cognis, Celanese, and Novasep.
