Praxair Commences Operations at Hyderabad Air Separation Unit

Praxair India, a subsidiary of Linde, has officially begun commercial operations at its air separation unit (ASU) located in Patancheru, Hyderabad. This facility is designed to manufacture a daily output of 250 tonnes of various gases, such as liquid medical oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.

As reported by business line, these gases will serve the needs of healthcare, pharmaceutical, and various other industrial sectors in the region. The construction of this ASU was successfully accomplished in a span of eighteen months, commencing in April 2022, following Linde’s receipt of formal approval from the Government of Telangana.

“The new Hyderabad ASU provides us with a manufacturing base in the key market of Telangana and will reduce dependency on supply from other states,” RC Kaushik, Head of Sales, Healthcare & AT, LindeIndia said.
