The board of directors of Rallis India Ltd approved the expansion of the pendimethalin plant situated at the Dahej SEZ unit. The proposed expansion, projecting an additional capacity of approximately 2000 MT/annum, will have an investment of around ₹15 crore. The financial commitment is set to be met through internal accruals.
The current operational capacity stands at about 5000 MT/annum, with a 90% capacity utilisation. As reported by EQUITY BULLS, the expansion initiative is slated for completion in a phased manner by the fiscal year 2025. Anticipated benefits include enhanced capacity to cater to both international and domestic market demands, ensuring alignment with sales requirements.
