Technopark commissioned a state-of-the-art sewage treatment plant (STP) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, as part of its continued efforts to adopt sustainable and environmentally responsible practices. The facility incorporates advanced automation and cutting-edge treatment technology.

MBR Technology Delivers High-Efficiency Wastewater Treatment

The newly operational STP uses Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology, which combines traditional biological treatment with advanced membrane filtration. This integrated system enables highly efficient treatment and produces high-quality effluent suitable for non-potable reuse, such as landscape irrigation.

Compact Design with High Daily Capacity

Despite its compact design, the STP can treat up to 7.50 lakh litres of sewage water per day. The plant meets stringent reuse and discharge standards, offering a modern solution for wastewater management that occupies less space than conventional treatment systems.

Setting New Standards in Sustainable Infrastructure

As reported by projectstoday.com, by adopting MBR technology and smart automation, Technopark is setting a benchmark for industrial campuses and tech parks nationwide. The initiative underscores its leadership in integrating technology with sustainability to support eco-conscious infrastructure development.
