Everfuel Joins Consortium to Advance Hydrogen Production

Everfuel has formed a strategic alliance with ITOCHU and Osaka Gas to expedite the production of green hydrogen. As part of the agreement, the consortium will back potential future Everfuel equity financing, coinciding with the commissioning of HySynergy phase one.

As reported by H2 VIEW, the collaborative efforts of ITOCHU, Osaka Gas, and HyVC aim to harness their collective capabilities and resources for the development and commercialisation of green hydrogen. Initially targeting the German, Benelux, and Nordic regions, the joint venture will subsequently expand into new markets.

Jun Inomata, Executive Officer, ITOCHU said, “Everfuel has in a short space of time become a leader within the European green hydrogen market supported by dedicated long-term owners, an experienced management team and a competent organisation. They have strong platform for business development, project execution and operations covering the entire green hydrogen value chain, which we will further expand into wider markets by leveraging our global connection with various customers who need to decarbonise with hydrogen and its derivatives”.
