India Energy Week 2024 Gearing up for Second Edition

The India Energy Week 2024, set to take place in Goa from February 6-9, is expecting the participation of seventeen energy ministers from different nations, along with over 35,000 attendees and more than 900 exhibitors.

Six exclusive country pavilions – Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, the UK, and the US – will be featured at the event venue. A special Make in India Pavilion will been organised, with an expectation of over 300 exhibitors to highlight innovative solutions pioneered by Indian MSMEs in the energy sector. The annual event serves as a significant platform for both domestic and international participants to showcase their capabilities to global markets, capitalising on India’s robust economic standing, expansive consumer base, and favourable investment environment.

Capitalising on its previous success, IEW-24 has extended its duration from three to four days, featuring an increased number of strategic sessions and technical discussions. Notably, the event will host 46 strategic sessions and 46 technical sessions, marking a significant expansion from previous editions. As reported by ThePrint, in line with India’s G20 priorities, a series of side events covering crucial themes such as Global South Cooperation and Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCUs) are slated to take place alongside IEW-24. India, positioned as the world’s third-largest oil importer and consumer, relies on crude oil sourced from various global markets to fulfill its domestic demand.
