Luminous Inaugurates Solar Panel Factory in Uttarakhand

Luminous Power Technologies, an energy solutions company, inaugurated its solar panel factory in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. The initiative aligns with India’s solar vision and sustainability goals. The factory is equipped with cutting-edge technology and infrastructure to ensure high efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

This marks a significant milestone for Luminous as it transitions from manufacturing top-quality solar, inverter, and battery products to establishing a comprehensive solar energy management ecosystem. The ecosystem will feature the flagship Connect X App, providing customers with real-time insights into energy consumption, solar energy generation, and inverter performance.

Spread over ten acres, the factory is the largest solar panel manufacturing facility in Uttarakhand, fully automated and equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. With an initial capacity of 250 MW, the plant is expandable up to 1 GW and is the first to incorporate future module technology and fully robotic automation for high-quality module production. Luminous has also formed a strategic partnership with The University of New South Wales, Australia, enabling them to evaluate emerging technologies and enhance their technological capabilities.
