Jagatjit Industries, operating in the breweries and distilleries sector, has announced that the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has approved a term loan of ₹180 crore for the establishment of an ethanol plant in Punjab. The project’s overall investment stands at around ₹210 crore. As reported by ZEE BUSINESS, the company has already obtained environmental clearance from the ministry of forest and environment.
