Noco-noco, a fully owned subsidiary of Noco-noco Inc, and Greenfuel Energy Solutions formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at revolutionizing India’s electric mobility sector by incorporating advanced battery technology. The collaboration focuses on harnessing the potential of noco-noco’s X-SEPA™ separator technology, renowned for significantly extending the lifespan of conventional lithium-ion batteries by fivefold when combined with a unique electrolyte.
Greenfuel Energy Solutions, provider of clean mobility and energy storage solutions, is poised to integrate noco-noco’s separator technology into its electric vehicle (EV) batteries. The integration is expected to elevate performance, efficiency, and overall longevity, paving the way for innovative developments in the battery services sector.
As reported by AUTOCAR professional, Noco-noco is set to supply Greenfuel with cells incorporating the cutting-edge X-SEPA™ technology, while Greenfuel will undertake the production of battery packs utilizing these advanced cells.
The collaborative partnership is designed to unfold in multiple phases, with the ultimate manufacturing capacity contingent on noco-noco delivering 3MWh of cells on a quarterly basis. This quantity constitutes a third of noco-noco’s planned in-house 35MWh production capacity, which is slated to commence in 2024. This timeline aligns with the acquisition of noco-tech, the research and development company pivotal in the creation of the groundbreaking X-SEPA™ technology.
