Petregaz Commissions LPG Import and Storage Terminal in Andhra Pradesh

Petregaz India, a branch of the Petredec Group, unveiled its latest LPG import and storage terminal situated in Krishnapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The state-of-the-art facility, established with an investment of ₹600 crore, is poised to provide efficient and reliable solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders including LPG marketers, residential, commercial, industrial, and automotive consumers.

Strategically located within the Adani Krishnapatnam Private Port at Krishnapatnam, 25 km from Nellore, the terminal holds significant potential to enhance the accessibility and availability of LPG across the region. Susheel Raina, CEO of Petregaz India, expressed optimism about the terminal’s capacity to bolster LPG supplies, thereby optimizing logistical operations and fortifying India’s LPG infrastructure.

He also emphasized the terminal’s role in supporting government-run oil companies and private marketers alike, by facilitating smoother distribution channels and addressing historical gaps in LPG infrastructure development. As reported by businessline, the launch of the terminal marks a pivotal step towards fostering India’s transition to cleaner and more affordable energy alternatives.
