UPL Ltd., provider of sustainable agricultural solutions, has been included in both the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Emerging Markets Indices (DJSI). These prestigious global indices are reserved for companies that demonstrate exceptional sustainability performance.

UPL’s remarkable achievement in securing the highest scores in the agrochemical sector during the S&P Global 2023 corporate sustainability assessment in November played a pivotal role in its inclusion in the DJSI.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) is widely recognised for evaluating companies based on their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. The DJSI World Index features the top ten percent of major global companies in each industry, showcasing their commitment to sustainable development. Similarly, the DJSI Emerging Markets Index recognises the top ten percent of the largest 800 emerging market companies, chosen for their outstanding ESG practices.
